     What does it do.

4W started as a need to better know what was going on, where it was happening, when it happened and having a system to help manage day to day operations.

​

With these changing times I also saw the need to have a complimentary recording system to supplement some of the information required to be gathered and kept on behalf of the growing number of agencies for compliance.

Then having created all these records, a place where I could easily find them for compliance or traceability auditing, and general management.

I created 4W in response to effectively running my citrus orchard.

     What is it.

 

• 4W is a new cloud based smart phone app that interacts directly with your desktop.

• 4W has two workspaces, one on your phone as an app and the other a desktop workspace.

You should value your time somewhere between $50 to $200 an hour depending on your business.

​

When you start valuing your time and keeping track of unproductive time spent, it goes from a non-tangible thing to a very real expense.

​

A picture is worth a thousand words. A good image can explain a lot, unless you want to waste you and your staffs time explaining something.

​

GPS is within a few meters of accuracy; vague reference is not as accurate especially if you waste time looking for it.

​

Having a list of “things to do” already available on you or your staffs phone means time spent in discussion with staff is how to "get things done” not “what needs doing”.

​

Sit down at the desktop and see what has or hasn't been done today, then update what needs to be done for the coming day. This is manual stuff that does not need a lengthy debrief in person.

When the Auditor wants proof, you have records immediately on hand, fast and accurate.
